I was stabbed seven times...

I suppose that's sort of dramatic. Anyway, veins that are both tiny and deep-set don't combine well with the need to draw blood. Three different nurses stabbed me seven different times until it worked at my physical, and I was not a happy camper.

I find this whole medical process somewhat ridiculous. I was charged $100 for me to blow into a tube so they could test my lungs. The nurse looked at the machine and wrote down a number. How in the world did they decide that should cost $100?

Anyway, internship's over, summer's been weird, looking forward to school and seeing you all.

I had to blow into a little blue bag once every half hour for three hours today (lactose intolerance test). I don't even want to ask how much that cost.

It isn't your veins that are the problem, it is the people who can't find them.

they have to put the rubber band on tighter, thats how makes the veins pop up more. Trust me, I know from 18 months of more than enough experience with blood draws and needles. I had a nurse come in one night when i was in the hospital because my IV was stopped and needed a new spot. she stuck me four times till she called for someone else and they just made the rubber band tighter and took care of it. Sorry to read about your experience, i can definitely see you not being to excited to go for blood in the first place. Ill do it for you next time if you like.
