I can't believe the summer is almost over. It flew by and now it is one of my favorite times of all.... time to debrief!!
Funniest moment at work/internship?
Most rewarding moment at work/internship?
Best new person you met this summer?
Most boring weekend?
Craziest night?
Best/worst movie?
What you'll miss the most?
What you're most excited to get back to Conn for?
I expect good debriefs from all of you! Add questions if you have them!!
My funniest moment at work was making the snooty grad student secretaries help me get this book I needed from the top top top shelf of this bookshelf and at some point we all thought we'd die from falling off the stepladder in our high heels and skirts. Or maybe the time I walked into the wrong office and got yelled at by this really mean lady.
The most rewarding moment was after a summers worth of hard work, my professor gave me a copy of his book and signed it "with gratitude and great expectations". yes, I am THAT lame!
The best new person I met was... hmmm.... lots, my boss, the guy in Washington Square Park, because that was fun and random, and my new baby cousin
The most boring weekend was complete with movies and an antique fair (though I did get to try on a $12,000 antique diamond ring)
This summer hasn't held that many crazy nights, but one was definitely with nick, rose and mollie in boston.
Best movie: transamerica Worst movie: Keeping up with the Steins/Failure to Launch/She's too young (a horrible lifetime movie)
I'll miss going into New York City all the time and seeing my cousins and family so much and all the time outside and by the pool and fun weekend trips with my prague friends, and my aunt's crazy pug.
And about Conn... I can't wait to see you all, admittedly I'm excited for fajita night and sunaes on sunday (and when it's fajita night on sunday!!), classes suuuuuureeeeeeeeee, and an amazing senior year with all of you!
Ok.... now tell me yours..........
love,

Funniest moment at work/internship: hmmm... listening to the intern from iraq talk about his flight to the u.s. and how a man died on it and all they did was cover his body in his seat with a sheet... well that was more awkward because he was laughing and we... weren't
Most rewarding moment at work/internship: being complimented for my writing
Best new person you met this summer: that would be the guy who stood next to me at harvard choir, he was a whacko
Most boring weekend: ug, i dunno, one where i did NOTHING
Craziest night: any drunken night with nick (and max?)
Best/worst movie: best? didn't really see any great movies... the edukators was great
worst? this weirdo lesbianish english movie taht i can't remember the title of
What you'll miss the most: living in a citaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy
What you're most excited to get back to Conn for: air conditioning... oh yeah, and all of you
Funniest moment at work/internship? Probably when I made fun of my boss's obsession with her myspace.
Most rewarding moment at work/internship? Hmm... I guess there are two. First, when my boss trusted my instinct enough to let me set up auditions with two kids from Conn, and both did fantastic jobs. Second, when an old intern visited and saw what I was doing and said "Wow, you do REAL work," and my boss replied, "Yea, you have no idea."
Best new person you met this summer? Hmm... I'm going to have to go with the fact that I made networking contacts... but really only for the business side of things.
Most boring weekend? Oh, many. My weekends weren't that fun.
Craziest night? I'm going to go with craziest weekend - camping with Will Harper and other friends from Conn was one of the funniest times of my life.
Best/worst movie? Best: I can't think of any. Worst: The Devil Wears Prada. Not because it was a bad movie, but because I get seriously upset when films modeled after books change the story.
What you'll miss the most? Warm weather.
What you're most excited to get back to Conn for? Everything. Being busy, you guys, directing, acting, making movies, a cappella - everything I love!
Funny: 6 AM, 4 of us are incredibly tired, grumpy, and completely humorless walking to the set of the morning show. As we turn a corner to walk into the main square in town, theres a classic dirty hippie tossing devil sticks with a grungy sign that says "need money for bus." Besides the humor in the shock of seeing this hippie totally out of her element in upscale Vail, two things were made it praticularaly funny. First, she was absolutly horrible with the devil sticks, and second, the buses are free in Vail.
rewarding: Being told to come back after college by one of the bigwigs from NY on a visit.
New Person: Jenelle, my mentor, because as corny as it sounds, she taught me so much technically and about loving what you do, I can't pass up this shout-out.
Boring: Anytime I had to listen to my roomate Marty talk for more than 5 seconds.
Crazy: maybe this saturday, where I the last drink I had was a shot of whisky while working the morning show. and the guy I was with fell down a flight of stairs then passed out in a deli.
Movie: The ones I made.
or An Inconvienent Truth
Miss: doing what I love all day rather than juggling it between waste-of-time classes; having casual conversations about film techniques every day.
Excited for Conn: MF Park appartment and all of the craziness that's going down. That, and Amanda and my CAT project, I guarentee that we're going to blow you all away.
