Kind of a Big Deal

So after a week of a lot of stress and not a lot of sleep, my efforts are actually being realized.

and i´m being published in the City of Madrid´s 2005 Annual Report on Intercultural Coexistance; WOOT. My name´s in the little "acknowledgements" section and i´m getting a hard copy of the 400-some page report (like...20 pages are me, but whatever), so booyah, i am an internationally published author. now i´ve been assigned more projects/reports, one of which is due at the beginning of july, and is spanish and english, so i´m doubling as spanish co-author and english translator. and i´m currently pursuing publications translation jobs and such with the help of my boss...

my summer plans are developing nicely and because of my over-time, i now have an extra 4 days of vacation, so i´ll be hitting up france in july and galicia/portugal in aug with the novio and then barcelona/madrid/northern spain with my real and host families. OLE

so things are looking up, finally

things have been busy but work is pretty individualistic, trying to mesh in with office dynamics, but i´m not sure how i´m doing... i get "along" with everybody, but only a few people i would consider friendly...oh well, it´s work and it´s a banging opportunity for my CV/resumé.

pps spain is kicking ass in the mundial 2-0, and we play saudi arabia on friday @ 4 , i am trying not to become a futbol superfan, but i´m not sure how that ones gonna go
